You are more than a set of symptoms. You are a unique individual with different life events both past and present that have led to your current challenges. Very few people in our society get curious about their challenges and the patterns underlying them. Together we will make sense of things and set you on a path to healing. I have experience working with trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, addictions, neurodivergence (autism), body dysmorphia and more. No matter what the challenges, we will find ways to make sense of the things that are blocking you and build strategies and steps that help you navigate through it all.
Together we will go to the roots of your challenges. We will use cognitive processing techniques to get at the thought structures that are keeping you stuck. We will then go to emotional processing work to release the painful emotion and thoughts. All of this will be built on a therapeutic alliance where I share things with you about my own life where helpful and where we use the therapeutic relationship as a tool and model for building deeper connection in the different relationships in your life.
You are the expert of your own experience. I’m here to help you see what’s in the way, and to walk beside you as you move through it.
